Cottonwood Water District offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Our District bills once a month, generated around the third week of the month. These bills are due by the 15th of the following month. A $5.00 late fee will be assessed if not paid by the 15th of the month.
Register with Online Portal
With online access, customers willl save time and money by having access to paying your bill on time. This portal makes it easy for you to review your monthly bill, research your account history, update your contact information and make payments using a debit/credit card or e-check. You can also request services and sign up to receive our new paperless "E-Bill" or sign up for "Auto-Pay" to save your debit/credit card information as an option with a small convenience fee. Bill amounts $200.01-$500.00 are charged $1.75
Bill amounts $500.01-$5,000.00 are charged 1.75%
Payment By Mail or in the Office
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
You may pay your bill at the District office located at 3282 Chestnut Street. We accept cash, check, money order and debit/credit cards.
Please note all debit/credit cards are charged a transaction fee of :
$1.75 for bill amounts paid $0 - $200.00
$1.75 for bill amounts paid of $200.01-$500.00
2.75% for bill amounts paid of $500.01-$5,000.00.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account on the 7th of each month. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the Autopay form located in the Forms & Reports Section and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check. Please note this auto-pay option is set up directly with the office and not through the online portal.

Payment Drop-Off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address using our secure drop-box located in the front of the office. We accept cash, check, or money orders. We provide envelopes for your convenience.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
Pay By Phone
You have the option to pay by phone with the dedicated 1-888-613-4988 number provided is available 24/7. This is an automatic service and very convenient way to pay your bill and save money on the merchant processing fee charged. Otherwise, you may still contact us directly at the office to pay your bill 530-347-3472 but the merchant processing fee is a higher rate.
